A
Taste for Life originated in Ottawa in 1999 when
Bruce House, Fife
House's counterpart in the nation's capital and The Snowy Owl AIDS
Foundation successfully collaborated with 10 local restaurants.
Patrons were invited to spend a special evening in their favourite
establishments and each restaurant agreed to donate
a portion of the
evening's gross revenue from all food
and bar sales, excluding
taxes, to the charities.
